By paying a planning fee and/or making a deposit with Wander + Whimsy Travels, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions on behalf of yourself and anyone else in your travel party:

1. Planning Fees. Wander + Whimsy Travels provides customized travel planning, therefore the Planning Fee assigned to each traveler will be unique. The planning fee will be established after the original consultation call and will be based on the needs and guidelines of the traveler. Planning a different type of trip after the guidelines have been established is possible, but will require additional time and is subject to additional planning fees. Whether additional planning fees are required for any reason, at any time, is up to the discretion of Wander + Whimsy Travels. 

2. Pricing. Wander + Whimsy Travels will give you a price quote applicable to the date and time when they are requested. Foreign currency quotes are subject to fluctuations in exchange rates and international credit card issuer fees. Wander + Whimsy Travels is not responsible for any increases due to fuel surcharges, government-imposed taxes or fees or supplier-imposed increases. 

3. Documentation. Each traveler is responsible for the appropriate travel documentation required for entry into your itinerary destinations, such as passports, visas and vaccination certificates. It is each traveler’s responsibility to have the proper immunizations prior to travel. Please see your health provider for advice. Wander + Whimsy Travels will provide advise for required documentation but travelers who do not meet advised requirements will be denied boarding or entry. Valid passports are required for all international destinations. If a passport is required to travel, the expiration date must be at least six (6) months out past the return date of the planned travel. Every country has different views for past criminal offenses, so if you have a current or past offense, please contact that country directly for entry and exit requirements. Wander + Whimsy Travel believes it is an invasion of privacy for members of our staff to make such an inquiry and those requirements remain the traveler’s responsibility. 4. Check-in + Departure. It is strongly recommended that travelers check in a minimum of two (2) hours prior to scheduled departure for domestic flights and three (3) hours prior to scheduled departure for international flights. It is the traveler's responsibility to confirm flight times at least 24-72 hours prior to departure. Wander + Whimsy Travels will not assume responsibility for any air or schedule changes after booking. Certain countries require departure taxes that require payment in cash. * Recommended check in times are subject to change without notification. It is the traveler’s responsibility to remain educated of these changes in condition or airport rules that might require earlier arrival times. This information can be found when entering your confirmation number on the airline website.

5. Travel Protection + Insurance. Acquiring travel protection and insurance is strongly recommended to protect your investment. Unless specifically noted, travel insurance is not included in the quote for the traveler’s itinerary. Information for travel insurance will be sent to you within a reasonable time frame after deposit based on the trip components and cost. 

6. Additional Disclosures. Wander + Whimsy Travels is not the source or supplier of the travel services requested and acts solely as a booking agent for disclosed principal supplier cruise lines, hotels, airlines, ground transportation and other companies providing accommodations, transportation, and/or other services. Each of these suppliers is an independent entity with its own management and is not subject to the control of Wander + Whimsy Travels. Wander + Whimsy Travels shall not be liable for any accident, injury, property damage or personal loss to the traveler or those in the traveling party in connection with any travel services we have booked, including but not limited to acts of God, weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of governments or other authorities, wars, civil disturbances, riots, strikes, epidemics, acts of terrorism, breakdown in equipment, theft, delay, fuel increases or cancellation or change in itinerary or schedules. 

   I acknowledge and accept that there are cancellation policies, change fees and penalties that apply to my travel plans and services as set by travel suppliers. If for any reason my credit card charges are later declined, reversed or Wander + Whimsy Travels is unable to receive payment for the travel plans and services, I acknowledge that this is a binding contract and Wander + Whimsy Travels will be entitled to recovery, including reasonable attorney’s fees in connection with collection.
